The first experiment i did once id built the set.
Its ended up as a nighttime city street scene simply out of my own bone idleness; a brick wall made out of card is obviously gonna be a lot quicker to do than a load of tree trunks or something. I think the fact that you only see the bottom foot of all these walls and doors etc leaves a lot to the imagination, and when i start doing the sound, ill be able to include footsteps, cars, pissheads vomiting etc, without going through the ballache of actually having to make and animate them.
I can create an atmosphere pretty easily this way, and the characters' reaction to the various sounds and shadows makes the story entirely from his point of view.
